    Professor Tony Quek is Associate Provost for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation at SUTD. A tenured professor, he also serves as Director of the Future Communications Research and Development Programme (FCP), and Deputy Director of SUTD-ZJU IDEA. He also holds the Cheng Tsang Man Professorship, with a focus on advancing academic and research excellence in the ISTD pillar. He was Head of the Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) pillar from 2018 to August 2025. His research interests encompass wireless communications and networking, network intelligence, non-terrestrial networks, open radio access networks, and 6G.

    Reiner is a technology manager wireless from the Test & Measurement Division of Rohde & Schwarz in Munich. Before that, he worked as a trainer and has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and promoting mobile communication technologies in the background of cellular standards and non-cellular technologies. He is involved in several projects concerning 5G, 5G advanced, and 6G research activities. 

    Reiner has published several technical documents and webinars. He is one of the authors of the R&S technology book "5G New Radio - fundamentals, procedures, testing aspects". He holds an academic degree in engineering in telecommunications issued by the Technical University of Kaiserslautern.

    Dr. Tsunehiko Chiba currently heads the CTO Innovation Center at VIAVI Solutions, based in Singapore. With more than 25 years of experience in the networking industry, he brings extensive experience in 3G/4G commercial development and 4G/5G/6G standardization, as well as research expertise as part of a leading global vendor and operator. He has been one of the main contributors in 3GPP 5G, O-RAN Alliance and ITU, holding several patent portfolios. Tsunehiko leads the CTO Innovation Center in the field of AI-powered wireless network, all-photonic networks, and quantum safe technology.

Dr. Jihong Park

  • Dr. Jihong Park

    Jihong Park (Senior Member, IEEE) is an Associate Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and an Honorary Associate Professor at Deakin University. He is Director of the MediaTek-SUTD Joint Laboratory and Deputy Director of the Future Communications Research and Development Programme (FCP) in Singapore. Dr. Park received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2009 and 2016, IEEE GLOBECOM 2023, and the 2025 ICML Workshop on Machine Learning for Wireless Communication and Networks. He has received several prestigious awards, including the 2023 IEEE Communication Society Heinrich Hertz Award and the 2022 FL-IJCAI Best Paper Award. Currently, Dr. Park is an Editor of IEEE Transactions on Communications and a Member of IEEE Signal Processing Society Machine Learning for Signal Processing Technical Committee, and Vice Chair of the AI-RAN Alliance's AI-on-RAN Working Group.

    Andre Puschmann is VP of Engineering at Software Radio Systems and a member of the Technical Steering Committee (TSC) for the OCUDU Project. He brings over 15 years of experience in developing software implementations of radio communication protocols, along with more than 20 years of contributions to open-source software.

    Andre holds a Diploma in Computer Science and a PhD in Computer Engineering/Communications from Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany.

    SRS builds 4G and 5G mobile wireless software radio systems based on the open software radio approach. OCUDU, the successor to srsRAN Project, is one of the most widely used open-source 5G NR software radio implementations, carrying forward its legacy while expanding scope toward a fully open and commercial-grade RAN stack.
